In the space of 10 years or so the way we do business has changed beyond recognition. What’s more, the speed of change appears to be increasing. Nothing stands still.

When we launched Big Red Cloud in 2012 we did so as we believed there would be a big swing to cloud-based software services. We were right, and today we support over 4,000 customers on our cloud-based accounts platform.

Today, over 70% of the Irish population or 2.3 million people are using smartphones as their main mobile device. With this rise in smartphone penetration, we also realised the need to service this emerging market. We went out and asked our Cloud customers what features were most important to them in a Big Red Cloud mobile app.

So, we designed and built an app to help our customers to be more productive when on the move or away from the office.

Invoice on the go.

The Big Red Cloud App in a nutshell:

  • Creating and sending invoices with the Big Red Cloud App is simple.
  • Just click ‘send invoice’ and the invoice is emailed there and then to your customer for approval and payment.
  • Check existing customer accounts for overdue invoices and ‘click to call’ or ‘click to send’ an email reminder.
  • It backs up in real time to your Big Red Cloud account, saving you time and more importantly avoids invoice drift.

After completing a Graduate program in Marketing, Marc’s impressive sales career began at Allied Irish Banks, Pitney Bowes and Panasonic where he received numerous Irish and European sales performance awards and consistently exceeded targets and expectations. In 1992, Marc’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to set up his own business, Irish International Sales (IIS). Initially, this company was a reseller for Take 5 Accounts and Payroll software.
