When entering cheques the Reference will default to the next cheque number.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nominal.<br \/>\n<\/strong>This will only be displayed when the Nominal is switched On.<\/p>\n<p>Enter the Nominal Account to be the Control Account for this Bank Account. \u00a0You cannot assign a Nominal Account that already has transactions posted to it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Default Bank Account.<br \/>\n<\/strong>If you setup more than one bank account, select the one used most frequently as the \u2018Default Bank Account\u2019.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Opening Balance.<br \/>\n<\/strong>This is the\u00a0reconciled (or true)\u00a0bank balance rather than the balance from your bank statement.
