Infrastructure platform<\/h3>\n

Big Red Cloud\u2019s accounting software application is hosted on Azure. Azure is Microsoft\u2019s cloud computing platform. With Azure, Microsoft became the first major cloud provider to\u00a0adopt the world\u2019s first international standard for data privacy<\/a>\u00a0in the cloud. In 2014, Azure also became the\u00a0first cloud platform approved by the European Union\u2019s privacy law<\/a>.<\/p>\n

SSL<\/h3>\n

Big Red Cloud\u2019s accounting software application uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption to provide you with a secure connection. Therefore all traffic between your web browser and our server is encrypted so even if your data is intercepted by someone, they will not be able to read it.<\/p>\n

Password standards<\/h3>\n

We use complex password validation standards, ensuring the strength of each user\u2019s password and protecting their account.<\/p>\n

User permissions<\/h3>\n

Our accounting software allows account administrators to define what level of access and functionality each user has to your financial records. This allows you to protect your financial records by assigning the relevant access required by each individual user. You may give an unlimited amount of users access to your records, however they must be invited by the account administrator first.<\/p>\n

Security testing<\/h3>\n

Big Red Cloud\u2019s accounting software has been subjected to independent, external testing to verify its security.<\/p>\n

Data ownership<\/h3>\n

Although you enter your data into Big Red Cloud\u2019s accounting software which is hosted by Microsoft Azure, you retain ownership of the data.<\/p>\n

Data backups<\/h3>\n

Microsoft Azure automatically takes two backups of your data. This secures the availability of your data should you have any issues with your financial records.<\/p>\n
