Prior experience with Accounts and Payroll software is desirable.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities of the Technical Support Team:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Providing 1<sup>st<\/sup> level support to Big Red Cloud Accounts and Big Red Book Accounts &amp; Payroll end users.<\/li>\n<li>Logging support call information to the helpdesk system and resolving all calls in a timely manner.<\/li>\n<li>Escalate issues to Senior Support Executives, Support Manager or Development when necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Deliver effective &amp; accessible training programmes to customers either in a group classroom setting, via online Webinar, or on a one-to-one basis.<\/li>\n<li>Gather problem descriptions, log files, configuration data, and analyse them in order to determine root cause of problems and find solutions where possible or escalate to senior Technical staff\/developers.<\/li>\n<li>Own support issues until resolution and act as primary support liaison between company and customer.<\/li>\n<li>Work independently in a fast paced customer support environment without requiring immediate supervision.<\/li>\n<li>Test new software releases and provide feedback on fixes and bugs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills &amp; Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years\u2019 experience working in a similar role.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work to SLA\u2019s.<\/li>\n<li>Previous customer service\/technical support experience.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent computer software skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office &#8211; Word, Excel, SQL Server Management and Powershell is desired.<\/li>\n<li>Strong organisational, time management and problem solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Must have a positive, can-do attitude and be a team player.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to represent the company in a professional manner at all times.<\/li>\n<li>Must be customer orientated.<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability of acting on own initiative.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Compensation<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive salary.<\/li>\n<li>Commission earnings on converted referrals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If interested in this role please forward your CV to <a href=\"mailto:eamonn@bigredcloud.com\/\">eamonn@bigredcloud.com\/<\/a> by 29th May 2015.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Big Red Cloud \u2013 Simple Online Accounts Software Ireland\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0are looking to recruit a new member for our Technical Support Team&#8230;.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":6,"featured_media":4790,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"inline_featured_image":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[64,71],"tags":[],"class_list":{"0":"post-7280","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-news","8":"category-updates"},"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v27.3 (Yoast SEO v27.4) -
