A New Home for Devin Toner’s Sponsor for a Day ERC Jersey

By 4th March 2015April 1st, 2022No Comments

Winning the Sponsor for a Day competition was incredible and the day of the game was in itself a fantastic occasion but at the time we didn’t appreciate how powerful the gift of 15 match day jerseys from the Leinster v Castres ERC game would be. Indeed, from a branding perspective, the Big Red Cloud Leinster jerseys will provide an ever present reminder of the fact that we were the shirt sponsor for Leinster Rugby in an European Rugby Championship game. When it comes to promoting our online accounting software, the Big Red Cloud Leinster jerseys are a most welcome addition – they are very visible ‘members’ of our extended marketing team.

The framed Devin Toney jersey, as you can see, is magnificently presented and it’s found a fitting new home in Bank of Ireland’s Baggot Street branch in Dublin. Our CEO Marc O’Dwyer was delighted to present Devin Toner’s Sponsor for a Day Leinster v Castres ERC jersey to Julie Ennis, Branch Manager at Baggot Street.

We have to commend the framer, Steve at 360 DPI, for his attention to detail and quality of the craftsmanship. Credit where credit is due, when we saw the framed jersey for the first time we knew we’d picked a quality framer.

Judge for yourself if you’re passing the Baggot Street branch.

After completing a Graduate program in Marketing, Marc’s impressive sales career began at Allied Irish Banks, Pitney Bowes and Panasonic where he received numerous Irish and European sales performance awards and consistently exceeded targets and expectations. In 1992, Marc’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to set up his own business, Irish International Sales (IIS). Initially, this company was a reseller for Take 5 Accounts and Payroll software. Within four years, IIS became the largest reseller of Take 5 in Ireland, acquiring four other Take 5 resellers. The company became profitable within two months, and Marc then acquired a payroll company to compliment Big Red Books Accounting products. In 2003, IIS were appointed as Channel Partners with SAP for their new SME product, SAP Business One. Marc sold his Take 5 business and concentrated on developing this new market for SAP As a result, by 2007, IIS was recognised as the largest Channel Partner for SAP in EMEA (Europe Middle East and Africa). In 2008, the IIS Sales Manager bought the Company from Marc in an MBO. He launched Big red cloud in June 2012, the online version of big red book, to date the company successfully converts 59% of trials into sales and the number of customers is growing rapidly.
