Creating an online brand is no longer optional. It has become a necessity for all types of business industries even when their main customers shop at brick and mortar stores. Branding is of huge importance to small businesses especially. Having an online presence allows your business to reach customers at all hours of the day to promote your business, bring industry news to peers, offer upcoming special sales, and providing engaging content. When a person becomes familiar with your business, they are more than likely to shop at your company when they are in need of products and services.

Posting on blogs, interacting on social media, and networking with industry professionals are all marketing tactics aimed at creating an online presence. Yet the one type of online marketing that is just catching on is video. Videos are becoming a dynamic branding option for businesses because of its versatility and the advantages it gives to businesses.

Different ways of using video marketing

A great aspect about video marketing is that you can use it to promote a different variety of content. So you are not stuck in doing the same marketing promotions that your competitors are doing. Here’s some video marketing ideas to use to promote your online brand:

1. How-to videos: How-to videos are ideal for products that may be installed into other equipment or used in projects. The videos can help people understand how to install or use the product correctly. You can also provide videos that offer maintenance tips for products. On our Big Red Cloud website we have many simple videos showing users how to use the accounting software.

2. Company visions, testimonials or objectives: Business owners have been using videos to create a more personal feeling to their about pages. The video can talk about what the company strives to do for customers, provide testimonials and reviews from satisfied customers, or elaborate on present and future objectives of the business.

3. Selling products: You may have an exciting new product to introduce to customers. Video marketing allows you to introduce new or expanding product lines. It can also help you up sell products that are slow movers as you can offer special bundle deals.

4. Further define your industry: If you are in a niche industry that is not well known, then videos can share industry news to help clients understand your products and services. By providing commentary and details about your business niche, customers will recognize you as an industry expert.

Video marketing is easier than you think

There are a large number of professional services available so you have the business video you desire to market your brand.
