You can now print receipts for customer payments, to do this you have to be using allocations.
When you are receiving payment and allocated the payment against an invoice you will have an option to print a receipt.
Once you have allocated the payment and saved it you will now have an additional button along the bottom of the cash book “Customer Receipt”
When you click on the button you will get the option to Print/Preview the receipt or Email.
The Customer receipt can also be printed from the View allocations screen.
In the Cash Book highlight the cash receipt that has been allocated and click on View along the bottom of the screen.
Then click on “View allocations”
You will then get the option to display the Customer Receipt.
This option also work from the customer ledger.
In the customer ledger highlight the Customer Payment click on View and then click on View Allocations.
Customer Receipts
A Customer Receipt is a notice to your customer that an invoice has been paid. It displays the following:
Company Name (sender of the Customer Receipt)
- Company Address
- Payment Date
- Payment Amount
- Customer Name
- Customer Address
- Transaction Details (Date, Ref, Total, Amount Paid, O/S amount) for transactions that the Cash Receipt is allocated to
- Invoices
- Credit Notes
- Debtor Journals
- Opening Balances
